Genetic Operations

A GA usually has the three genetic operators that act on the chromosomes. Initially the system was implemented making use of these three operators only. Though the system successfully converged to proper solutions, experimentations towards improving the speed of convergence led to the discovery of two new operators. We present these two new operators below named as `swap' and `exchange'. In the following subsections these five operators are reviewed.
